Apathy No More

The stamps that mark the body signify one’s level of awarenesses and political roles, as well as one’s reluctance to be oblivious. The body bearing the stamps is then forced to un-know and become ‘un-aware’ through the cleansing of the marks by the participant. Ironically, this action of the intake and removal of information forms a partner-participant relation that inevitably problematises the boundaries of awareness, ignorance and apathy.
